Yuvraj Singh Take a Walk Down Memory Lane, Posts Throwback Picture With Rahul Dravid and Vijay Dahiya From His First Tour With India

Yuvraj Singh got nostalgic and shared an old picture with Rahul Dravid and Vijay Dahiya on Instagram. The picture was clicked 19 years ago when a young Yuvraj Singh was selected in the Indian team for the first time. The occasion was the ICC Champions Trophy 2000 and the venue was Kenya. Playing for India is every cricketer's dream. Thus, the first tour is special indeed. In the picture, Yuvraj Singh is seen posing with Rahul Dravid and Vijay Dahiya who were all dressed in formal attire. In the mega-tournament, Dravid was India’s batting mainstay and Vijay Dahiya was the wicket-keeper.

After his scintillating debut, Yuvraj played many more incredible innings and guided India to several victories. The batsman also played a vital role in guiding India to the title in ICC World T20 2007 and ICC Cricket World Cup 2011. Unfortunately, the Indian star was diagnosed with a form of lung cancer and his international career was paused. However, the veteran made comeback like a warrior and stepped on the cricket field after beating the ailment. Yuvraj played his last international match in July 2017 and finally announced retirement on June 10, 2019.
