Yuvraj Singh might have hung his boots from international cricket, many of his innings remain etched in the archives of memories of the cricketer. One of the fondest memories on the cricket field was when the stylish left-hander slammed six sixes consecutively against England during the inaugural season of the T20I World Cup in 2007 at Kingsmead in Durban. The match took place on September 19, 2007, exactly 12 years ago. Hitting six sixes, not only did Yuvi score a half-century in 17 balls but also ushered the team to a total of 218 runs. It was Andrew Flintoff who messed up with Yuvi after he hit a couple of fours in the 18th over. Flintoff and Yuvi had a verbal spat with each other and this fired up the left-hander. And Yuvi in the 19th over made sure that no corner was left untouched by the left-hander as he hit six sixes in an over when Stuart Broad was handling the bowling duties. India was 171/3 when Broad came to bowl. Yuvi went berserk and gave a befitting reply to the opponents.
Needless to say, the inning would be close to Yuvi’s heart as well and thus the left-hander took to social media and relived the memory.

While speaking about his innings Yuvi said, "It charged me up for sure, but it happens in games. Oppositions do have a word with each other, so it’s part of the game. Outside we’re good friends, but in the game we’re competitive. Of course, when you hear some words you get charged up, and you want to give it back with the bat. I wanted to give it back with the bat,” he said. India eventually went on to win the T20I Cricket World Cup in 2007.
