Virat Kohli celebrated his 31st birthday on November 5, 2019 (Tuesday) and many from the cricket fraternity, including Yuvraj Singh, wished the Indian cricket captain on his special day. But Yuvraj's wish for his once team India and Indian Premier League (IPL) teammates was different and suggested a possible rift between both the players. The former World Cup-winning left-handed batsman posted a sarcastic tweet on twitter while wishing Kohli on his birthday. Kohli and Yuvraj were believed to be the best of friends during their time together in the Indian camp but things may have turned sour between them following Yuvi’s abrupt decision to call it quits from international cricket. Rohit Sharma Wishes Virat Kohli on His 31st Birthday, Here's What he Has to Say.

Yuvraj, who announced his retirement from international cricket in June earlier this year, has been vocal about how he was constantly neglected by the national selectors and the Indian team management despite passing the yo-yo Test and being eligible to be selected for the Indian team. The left-handed batsman has also reiterated on the importance of having a players association citing how players during his team were scared from taking a break in fear of being dropped out of the team. Fans on social media also reacted on the possible rift between the two.

Kohli and Yuvi during they stay together in Indian team from 2008-2012 shared a great bond. Kohli also shared some heart-warming stories about the veteran all-rounder fighting cancer to help India lift the 50-over World Cup after a wait of 28 years. But things – as Yuvraj’s tweet suggests – may no longer be the same between two of India’s best cricketers. “Yeh bhi din they! Aur ek aaj ka din hai! Jahan bhi ho khush raho,” said Yuvraj in his birthday wish for Kohli. “God bless you always! Happy birthday.”

Meanwhile, Yuvraj has announced his retirement from international cricket to play in T20 franchise leagues, while Kohli is currently the top-ranked ODI batsman in the world and recently led India to a record-breaking 11 successive Test series wins at home following the 3-0 humbling over South Africa.
