Irfan Pathan hung his boots from international cricket earlier today with immediate effect. The former pacer made the announcement his retirement on Star Sports and said that he knew that he would not come back into the Indian side after 2016 as the selectors were not happy with his despite the fact that he did well in domestic cricket. Post this, many cricketers including Gautam Gambhir, Mohammad Kaif, commentator Harsha Bhogle and others paid a tribute to the cricketer. Yusuf Pathan took to social media and posted a note against the pictures of the two brothers hugging each other. In the note, he wrote how the two brothers pursued their passion for cricket and also described their journey in a brief manner. Yusuf also pointed out that the most memorable moment with Irfan was playing the T20 World Cup with him in South Africa. He signed off the note with a message stating keep smiling.
