Teenage sensation Yashasvi Jaiswal bagged an enormous amount of 2.4 crores in the 2020 IPL players auction and is all set to play for Rajasthan Royals in the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League. At the age of 17, the Mumbai-born opener is the youngest batsman to hit a double-century in List- A cricket and many eyes will be on him in the forthcoming edition of the gala tournament. Before the tournament, Jaiswal will also represent India in the 2020 Under-19 cricket World Cup and will look to put up a fantastic show there too. Jaiswal’s base price in the auction was just 20 lakhs. However, his potential was not unknown and he bagged a whopping amount.

Rajasthan won the inaugural edition of the tournament but hasn’t been able to put up a significant performance and will look to lift the trophy this time around. The star teenager will play under the leadership of Steve Smith is expected to get better with the experience. The Royals will also have the services of Jofra Archer, Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler- the trio which played a crucial role in guiding England to 2019 Word Cup and will look to similar show in the cash-rich league too.
