2. He hails from Uttar Pradesh. At the age of 10, he moved to Mumbai with dreams to become a cricketer.
3. He is around six feet tall. He is a left-handed batsman and leg-break bowler.
4. He undertook cricket coaching at Azad Maidan in Mumbai.
5. Due to poverty and having no home for himself, he lived with the groundsmen in Azam Maidan in tents.
6. To finance his coaching, he sold pani-puri outside Azad Maidan to make ends meet.
7. After three years of his coaching, Jwala Singh, head of a cricket academy in Santacruz, observed his talent and became his legal guardian.
