All-rounder Andre Russell has been named in Windies squad for the upcoming One-Day International (ODI) series against Bangladesh. After the Test series, which Windies won by 2-0, the two teams will lock horns in the three-match ODI series and as many T20Is. The all-rounder made a comeback to Windies side in May against the World XI after serving the ban. Russell was banned after being found guilty of doping by WADA.

Meanwhile, Windies coach Stuart Law was pleased to have Russell back in the fold as Windies begin preparations for the 2019 Cricket World Cup. “This is the start of our prep for 2019 CWC. Opportunities for players to stake a claim to be included in the squad. Great to have Dre Russ back as well. His explosive power and energy will breathe life into an already motivated squad,” Stuart Law, the Windies head coach, said. Chris Gayle Takes an Unbelievable Catch as Vancouver Knights Win Global T20 Canada 2018, Watch Video.
