Why Was Amelia Kerr Given Not Out?

While Amelia Kerr was given not out by the umpires, Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur had a deep discussion with the umpires and expressed her disagreement regarding the decision. However, the major question that arises is why was Kerr given not out?. Before Kerr ran for the second run, the umpires had already called the end of the over and as the run-out took place after it was called dead. Also, the extra was also not awarded to the Kiwi team. The umpires had already presented the cap to Deepti Sharma after the end of the over and after Harmanpreet Kaur collected the ball, she was walking casually towards the bowler's end and eyeing the opportunity, Amelia Kerr called for a second run.
