Why Team India’s Jersey for Zimbabwe Series Has Only One Star Despite Winning T20 World Cup 2024?

The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 and the India tour of Zimbabwe were scheduled at a very close proximity of each other. The final of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 was played on June 29 while India took field against Zimbabwe in the first T20I on July 06. Due to the very packed schedule, it is likely that BCCI had the jerseys already printed for the tour and handed it out to the team India cricketers before they departed for the series. As they were playing an away series, there has been no time to re-print the new jersey and also transport them to Zimbabwe to hand out to the team. Although the possibility that fans might see the Indian Cricket Team play with the two-star jersey in the series for the upcoming games cannot be ruled out.
