During the 'rapid-fire round’ segment of the show, Karan asked both the cricketers who as per them is the better batsman Virat Kohli or Sachin Tendulkar. Both Pandya and Rahul chose Kohli as the better batsman.

Interestingly, when asked about the better captain between MS Dhoni and Kohli. Pandya said, "MS Dhoni because I made my debut and it was fantastic". While Rahul added, "In terms of achievement, yes MS Dhoni”. Koffee With Karan 6: Hardik Pandya Picks MS Dhoni Over Virat Kohli as a Better Captain.

Both Pandya and Rahul are currently in Australia with the Indian team. Pandya was recalled into the Test side for the third and fourth match while Rahul was already part of the squad.

Pandya, however, did not feature in the Tests but is very much likely to play in the One-Day International (ODI) series. Rahul is also part of the ODI squad, but after his string of failures in the recently concluded Test series, it remains to be seen whether he finds a place in the playing XI or not. The three-match ODI series starts in Sydney on January 12.
