Mumbai, June 22: 2018 FIFA Football World Cup fever seems to be soaring day-by-day. Yesterday, Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni were seen flaunting their football skills. Today, India’s star batsman Yuvraj Singh on a YouTube channel named SportScreen spoke about his favorite sportsman. He also said that Hardik Pandya and Rohit Sharma are bad football players. For the on-going FIFA World Cup, the star batsman supports France due to Paul Pogba.
"Past few World Cups, I supported Brazil, but this year I am supporting France because it has Paul Pogba, who is a Manchester United player,” said Yuvraj on YouTube channel SportScreenIndia. The star cricket was spotted at the Old Trafford to catch on the games of the club. The Indian team is also spotted playing football during the warm-up before the practice. Known for his witty comments, Yuvraj also revealed on the players who could play the game well.
According to Yuvraj, Virat is good but cannot score goals. He also has a piece of advice for Jasprit Bumrah and Pandya. “Jasprit Bumrah shouldn't play football. Hardik Pandya is a really bad footballer. He too needs to improve his football skills.” “Rohit Sharma is a horrible soccer player. He just passes the ball and then doesn't move. He is always standing in an off-side position. Zaheer Khan is also like Rohit, barely wants to run on the football ground. Ashish Nehra, I would advise shouldn't play football because every time he plays, he gets injured," he continued. When asked who according to him is the best football player, pat came the answer, “MS Dhoni.”
