The Afghanistan spinner is currently in Australia and his plying his trade in the Big Bash League 2019-20 (BBL). Khan plays for Adelaide Strikers and is one of their key players. The 21-year-old has picked four wickets thus far in three matches.

Khan has taken 23 wickets in four Test matches thus far. In ODIs, the leggie has scalped 133 wickets in 71 matches. In the game’s shortest format, Khan, who leads the rankings, has claimed 84 wickets in 45 games. Khan is also a key member of Sunrisers Hyderabad team in the Indian Premier League.
