Gautam Gambhir may be away from action for a while now. But, the cricketer is leaving no stone unturned to make a comeback to the sport. The left-hander is sweating it out in the nets and is also working out hard on his fitness. Today, Gambhir’s elder daughter Aazeen accompanied him and also appeared for the fitness test.
In the adorable video shared by Gambhir, Aazeen was seen jumping the hurdles like the cricketers. Like a proud father, he asked Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh and Yuvraj Singh if Aazeen has passed the fitness test. The captioned of the video read, “Looks like my elder one Aazeen has cleared the Yo-Yo test!!! What do you think @YUVSTRONG12 @harbhajan_singh @sachin_rt.”

Recently, Gautam Gambhir was in the news for criticising MS Dhoni after India lost the third match against England by 8 wickets. Dhoni made 42 runs in 66 balls and failed to support the middle order. Gambhir said, “The way MS played in the last innings (2nd ODI) and today as well, there has been a lot of dot balls. The way he is batting at the moment, he is putting pressure on the other batters as well. He needs to be very much proactive. I have not seen MS play so many dot balls a couple of years back. There is something which he really needs to work on. Normally MS Dhoni is someone who takes his time. But then he is able to be aggressive in the last ten overs. But that is clearly missing in the last two games,” he told Cricbuzz.
