Australia vice-captain David Warner and heated altercations can’t be kept far for a long time. His recent heated verbal exchange with South Africa wicket-keeper batsman Quinton De Kock is a testimony to it. A video footage has emerged showing Warner hurling verbal innuendos at de Kock, after which he was seen being restraint by his teammates. The incident happened while the players were heading towards their dressing rooms during the first test match at Durban.
It is a well-known fact that David Warner has a history of being involved in such on-field spats in his mercurial career. In the video that has emerged online, it shows Warner unleashing a verbal barrage in a stairwell when Quinton de Kock and other players were returning during the Tea break on day four of the first Test.

Earlier, the Australian team was also slammed for their over-jubilant celebrations after running-out AB de Villiers for a duck. The post-wicket jubilant festivities, again led by fiery David Warner, were too dramatic. See the incident here:

After catching the star Proteas batsman short of the crease, Australian spinner Nathan Lyon dropped the ball near a fallen de Villiers and joined his teammates where Warner was all fired up and was caught mincing words. Watch Lyon's celebration of de Villiers wicket here:

The Australian team has an upper hand in the first test match of the four-match Test series. After being set a target of 417 runs, the home team were tottering for 293 runs for the loss of 9 wickets, with 124 more runs required to win. Will Quinton de Kock along with Morne Morkel be able to save the day for South Africa? It will be nothing less than a miracle if that happens.
It will be interesting to see how both, South Africa and Australia react to the incident and set the tone of the series. However, match referee Jeff Crowe hasn’t taken any action regarding the matter.
