Speaking of Wasim Akram, the left-arm quick is arguably the best left-arm to have stepped on the cricket field. His ability to swing the new ball and execute the yorker to perfection pierced the defences of many potent batsmen. In fact, his tally of 916 wickets is second-most for any pacer in international cricket after Glenn McGrath who has 949 scalps. Post-retirement, Akram donned the commentator’s hat and has given his voice in many matches.
