1. Harbhajan Singh slapped S. Sreesanth in IPL Season 1, 2008
This incident to date remains as the worst moment in the history of IPL. The feud between two Indian teammates just occurred after the match between Mumbai Indians and King XI Punjab. In the inaugural season of IPL Harbhajan Singh played for Mumbai Indians, while S.Sreesanth represented Kings XI Punjab. It is reported that, post-match Sreesanth needled The Turbanator Harbhajan for the loss. Bhajji in frustration lost his temper and slapped the Kerala bowler by the back of his hand.
2. Shane Warne and Sourav Ganguly get into an argument
Let us go back to the match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2008. The two legends from international cricket Sourav Ganguly and Shane Warne got into a heated argument when the former played a shot and was caught by Graeme Smith. The former Indian captain did not move from his crease, as he was not sure whether the catch was taken clean or not by Smith. Warne got furious about this incident and got into a verbal fight with Ganguly. The matter was further discussed in the post-match press conference where former Australian cricketer Warne commented that game should be played in the spirit of cricket. Ganguly clapped back on this statement and said look who is speaking, as Warne has been involved in various controversies of cricket.
3. Gautam Gambhir comes in defence of his team against RCB star batsman Virat Kohli
This fight will always remain as one of the famous 'ego' clashes between two immensely talented Indian players Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli. The feud took place in IPL 2013 when current Royal Challenger Bangalore(RCB) skipper Kohli perished after hitting two maximums off former Kolkata Knight Rider(KKR) bowler Pradeep Sangwan. KKR were elated by the departure of Kohli; however, RCB star batsman could not resist that, and he got into heated debate with KKR players. This lead Gambhir to come in defence of his team, where two men with equal egos got into verbal battle.
4. Ambati Rayadu misbehaviour while celebrating Mumbai Indians victory
Mumbai Indians batsman Ambati Rayadu made an ugly spat after he struck the winning runs against RCB. He went on to express verbal remarks to RCB bowler Harshal Patel. The feud between these two players got so intense that RCB skipper Virat Kohli had to intervene to cool off the situation. Later Kohli said in the press conference that he is disappointed by the behaviour of Rayadu.
5. Kieron Pollard-Mitchell Starc in IPL 2014
This episode took place in the seventh edition of Indian Premier League in the match between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings. Pollard lost his temper when Windies batsman was sledged by RCB bowler Starc consecutively after bowling two bouncers. The angry Windies batsman threw his bat towards Starc, luckily the throw was not targeted well, and it fell a distance away from Australian cricketer.
