Rain Stays Away in Visakhapatnam As Australia Beat India By 10 Wickets in 2nd ODI, Level Series 1-1

It was expected that rain would play spoilsport in the 2nd ODI between India and Australia at DR YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam. Fortunately for the cricket fans, things turned out differently. Australia bowled out India for only 117 courtesy of Mitchell Starc's five-wicket haul. Then they managed to chase down the total within 11 overs without losing any wickets. Openers Mitchell Marsh and Travis Head slammed fifties as the visitors levelled the series 1-1. 

India managed just 117 runs in the first innings of the 2nd ODI against Australia, but the good news is that the rain has stayed away for now. The match started with bright sunshine and at one point in time, the floodlight was switched on with the sky becoming a bit cloudy. Australia need just 118 runs to level the series with one game to go. 

There has been no sign of rain and India vs Australia 2nd ODI is slated to start exactly on time after rain in the morning. The sky was cloudy with spells of rain in the morning and the pitch was also covered for a long time. But now, the sun is out shining brightly and there are clear skies with fans having gathered in huge numbers to watch live action from the stadium.

More good news for fans as the covers which were put on the field, are being removed. Moreover, the sky above the stadium is absolutely clear with bright sunshine and no rain clouds.
