Virender Sehwag took to his social media accounts, Facebook and Twitter, to wish MS Dhoni on his 37th birthday, which falls on July 7. The swashbuckling opener, who is known to wish his fellow teammates in his own swag, Sehwag was all praise for the former Indian captain too. Since it was Sehwag wishing his former in-command, the gossip of he being dropped by Dhoni had to reoccur! However, Sehwag in his usual style silenced a fan, who tried to stoke a controversy once again.
Wishing MS Dhoni on his Facebook and Twitter profile, Sehwag wrote, “Happy Birthday MS Dhoni. May your life be longer than this stretch and may you find happiness in everything, faster than your stumpings. Om Finishaya Namaha! #NationalHelicopterDay"

Replying to the following greeting, a fan wrote ‘Happy Birthday to the finisher of Sehwag sir’s career’ in the comments section. Trying to avoid any further controversy on the non-issue, Sehwag replied with ‘Galat statement’ on the comment.
