On the 7th anniversary of the memorable day, Virender Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh, Suresh Raina relive their favourite memory. Harbhajan Singh shared a picture of himself with Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh celebrate the victory with the trophy in their hands. He wrote, “INDIA INDIA INDIA....World Cup champs 2011 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳Best day of my life🙏🙏🙏 thank you fans, cricket lovers for all the wishes and prayers @sachintendulkar @yuvisofficial@mahi7781 @virat.kohli @sureshraina3@zaheer_khan34.”

 

Suresh Raina, on the other hand, shared the picture where the Master Blaster was lifted by Virat Kohli and the team members celebrated the victory with the fans at Wankhede. He wrote, “7 years ago, 15 Indians and a South African did it for a Billion people. #WorldCup2011."

 

Even the official page of ICC, shared the clip of the highlights of the match. They captioned the video, “#OnThisDay in 2011, India won the ICC Cricket World Cup with a massive @msdhoni six! Who could forget this moment! 🎥 .”
