During the DDCA event in New Delhi, the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium was renamed as Arun Jaitley Stadium. Virat Kohli Pavilion was also unveiled at the Delhi ground to honour the Indian captain. Many Indian cricketers were awarded during the event. Ravi Shastri was also present during the event. Jaitley, who died on August 24, was a former DDCA President and BJP leader. BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah was also present on the occasion.
Shikhar Dhawan had also shared another photo from the event on his official Instagram account. “What an honour to be with the squad to see the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium being renamed after our former Finance Minister, late Arun Jaitley Ji. Also congrats to @imVkohli for his achievement of 'Virat Pavilion Stand' at the stadium”, he wrote along with the photo. Have a look.

Meanwhile, India is set to face South Africa in the three-match T20I series from Sunday, September 15. The first T20I match will be played on Sunday in Dharamsala.
