Virat Kohli’s Jersey Placed in Bradman Museum Ahead of IND vs AUS 1st Test 2018

India will take on Australia in the first of the four-match Test series at the Adelaide Oval on December 06.

The Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli’s Test jersey has been placed in the Bradman Museum located in New South Wales. The jersey was donned by Kohli during the fourth Test between India and Australia on the 2014-15 tour. Playing at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG), Kohli scored unbeaten 147 in the first innings and 46 in the second innings.

After the match, Kohli had donated the jersey signed by him and now it has been placed in the Bradman Museum. “Virat Kohli’s jersey has been given a very special place — it is at the entrance of the exhibition, beside Mr Tendulkar’s portrait. Both are a delight and awe-inspiring for visitors as they enter this landmark exhibition, and fitting as pillars of entrance into what is the truly colossal story of Indian cricket!” Monica Donoso, the Media and Cultural Projects Officer of The Bradman Centre, was quoted as saying by the Deccan Chronicle.

“At the conclusion of the fourth Test (SCG) during the 2014-15 Indian Test tour of Australia, Indian Captain Virat Kohli signed and presented his shirt to Cricket Australia Liaison Officer Pearce Gibbons in appreciation of his assistance to the Indian side throughout the summer. India will take on Australia in the first of the four-match Test series at the Adelaide Oval on December 06. The two teams have already competed in the T20I series, which was shared one each. Following the four Test matches, the teams will lock horns in three-match ODI series.
