The cricket fan had said that the Indian captain is overrated as a batsman and that he enjoys watching batsmen from England and Australia, to which Virat replied saying "I don’t mind you not liking me, but I don’t think you should live in our country and like other things. Even a BCCI official termed Virat's comment "stupid". “It was a very stupid comment to make. He should have been more careful. He must understand that the kind of money he is earning is because Indian fans have invested in this game,” the BCCI official was quoted as saying by PTI on Thursday.
