Talking about the Indian team, MS Dhoni has been excluded from the squad and Rishabh Pant has stepped into his shoes.  MS Dhoni was also dropped from the recently concluded T20 matches against the West Indies. Virat Kohli was also rested from the T20 squad and Rohit Sharma was the stand-in skipper. Before leaving for Australia, Ravi Shastri and Virat Kohli addressed the press. Shashtri said that the period of rest is over and now is the time to play as a unit. “We will try and play close to a 15 that will go to the World Cup. Chopping, changing over now, rest period over. Now is the time to really get focused, play as a unit," he said.
