Virat Kohli shared an emotional post on the occasion of Father’s Day 2018. The Indian cricket team captain took to Twitter and shared an old photograph with his later father Prem Kohli. Kohli’s father died on December 19, 2006, when the cricketer was just 18-years-old. Kohli was busy playing a Ranji Trophy match for Delhi against Karnataka when he received the tragic news of his father's demise. Kohli recently was trolled for filming his wife Anushka Sharma, who was giving an earful to the occupant of another car for littering plastic on the road. The video went viral, however, Kohli received some harsh reactions from the Twitter users. Many blamed Anushka Sharma for being outrightly rude and suggested she could have sent across the message in a polite manner.

Not just her, Kohli too was suggested by netizens to use the words judiciously after the star batsman tweeted: “Saw these people throwing garbage on the road & pulled them up rightfully. Travelling in a luxury car and brains gone for a toss. These people will keep our country clean? Yeah right! If you see something wrong happening like this, do the same & spread awareness. @AnushkaSharma.”
