Jasprit Bumrah once again proved why he was the go-to bowler for India cricket team captain Virat Kohli. The 25-year-old was brought back by Kohli for a second spell for providing the much-needed breakthrough in the IND vs AFG game off CWC 2019. And he paid back the faith with a double breakthrough in a single over. Not only did Bumrah removed the two set Afghanistan batsmen but also bowled a wicket-maiden 29th over which made Kohli super-excited. In a video shared by the official Twitter handle of Cricket World Cup, Kohli could be seen roaring in delight as Bumrah helped India make inroads back into the contest. The Indian skipper has been very animated in India vs Afghanistan match and did not hide his emotions after India’s DRS review was over-ruled in the opening over of the Afghanistan innings. But Bumrah, who was pretty poor in India’s previous match against Pakistan, managed to get the breakthrough in his fourth delivery of the 29th over when Rahmat Shah was caught at fine-leg by Yuzvendra Chahal. The Afghan opener was out trying to pull a short-length delivery before Hashmatullah Shahidi also walked-back two deliveries later.
