Now, during India vs South Africa, test match number one which is currently underway at Vishakhapatnam, this gesture by Virat Kohli proves that all is well between the two. While Rohit returned to the pavilion, he received a standing ovation not only from the crowd but also by the ones in the dressing room. Virat Kohli held the door open for Sharma while applauding his feat. The gesture suggested that all is well between the Indian cricket team captain and Rohit Sharma. Hope the rumour mills won't work extra time to prove that Kohli and Sharma are sworn enemies who do not look eye-to-eye. Rohit Sharma and Mayank Agarwal out up 317 runs on the board. While Mayank Agarwal made 215 runs and converted his maiden hundred into a double century, Rohit missed out on the feat.

The Indian team piled up 502 runs on the board and put the hosts in a commanding position. By the end of the second day, the South Africans had already lost three wickets. It was Ravichandran Ashwin who snapped a couple of wickets and Ravindra Jadeja snapped one.
