Kohli is also now the first player to score 20,000 international runs in a single decade. From 2010 to 2019, Kohli has now scored 20,024 runs and is the first player to do so. The closest any cricketer had ever come to hitting 20,000 runs in a single decade before this was Ricky Ponting. The former Australia skipper had scored 18,962 international runs from 2000-2010. Earlier, Khaleel Ahmed took 3/68 while Mohammed Shami returned with figures of 2/50 to limit West Indies to 240 runs in 35 overs after the game was shortened owing to rain delays. Irregular rain once again threatened to spoil the game before the match was eventually reduced to 35 overs per side. West Indies made 240 runs in their 35 overs and the target was revised to 255. But India romped home with 14 balls and six wickets to spare. India also sealed the series 2-0.
