London, August 22: Indian beat England in the 3rd Test at Trent Bridge and kept not only their chances in the series alive, but also won back the confidence of the fans after the loss in second test match at Lord's Cricket Ground. Indian captain Virat Kohli, who played the pivotal innings of 103 runs in the second innings after scoring a brilliant 97 in the first, impressed experts as well as cricket fans.

But perhaps the sweetest moment came after the match when Virat Kohli, while on the verge of taking the team bus, was signing a few autographs. While Virat was on the other side, a kid kept shouting "Virat, picture please!"

India beat England by 203 in the third Test match at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. India captain Virat Kohli was adjudged as ‘Player of the Match’ for his batting performances, i.e. 97 and 103 in both innings respectively. During the presentation ceremony, skipper Kohli dedicated this victory to the Kerala flood victims.

While receiving the Player of the Match award, Kohli said, “First and foremost, we as a team want to dedicate the victory to the flood victims back home in Kerala. People are going through a lot, and this is the least we can do.”

Within 10 minutes of the start of Day 5’s play, Ravichandran Ashwin claimed the last wicket of the English team. It was a fairytale come back for the India who were down by 2-0 in the Pataudi Test Series 2018 ahead of the Nottingham match.
