Indian Army turns into Orange Army

The look of the much-awaited orange jersey of the Indian team was revealed yesterday by Nike. Since the top-ranked ODI team and World Cup 2019 hosts both use blue-coloured jerseys in ODI cricket, Indian players will be seen playing in an orange jersey during their match against England. The jersey was officially revealed by Nike, who had mentioned that the jersey is inspired by the young new generation of India. “Team India will debut its first-ever Away Kit in Birmingham on 30th June 2019. The ODI and Away Kit designs launched this year are inspired by the young new generation of India and the fearless spirit of the national teams," Nike said in an official statement.

India has been unbeaten in World Cup 2019 tournament so far, winning five matches out of six games. One match against New Zealand was abandoned without a ball being bowled. India currently has 2nd position on the points table currently with 11 points while playing one match less than their successor Australia. Other than England, India is going to play two more matches before the start of semi-finals against Bangladesh and Sri Lanka on July 2 and July 6 respectively.
