He is also chasing the record for the most runs scored against the upcoming opponents in the longer format of the game. Virat has currently scored 502 runs against the Windies and is 38 runs short of former captain Mohammad Azharuddin’s record of 539 runs. West Indies are touring India to play in two-match test series. The first test will begin on October 4 at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Rajkot. The second test will start on October 12 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. They are also scheduled to play a five-match ODI series, which will begin on October 21. They will also play 3 T20Is on November 4, November 6 and November 11.
