The Indian Cricket Team is set to play against the West Indies in a two-match Test series with the first test starting on October 4. The Delhi batsman has played 10 tests against Windies and has a staggering batting average of 38.61 with his highest score as 200. He has already overtaken former captain and wicketkeeper Mahendra Singh Dhoni who has scored 476 runs. Legendary Indian batsman Sunil Gavaskar leads the charts of highest test runs against the Windies with 2746 runs. Former captain Rahul Dravid (1978 runs) and middle-order batsman VVS Laxman (1715 runs) take the second and third spots respectively. West Indies are touring India to play in two-match test series. The first test will begin on October 4 at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Rajkot. The second test will start on October 12 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. They are also scheduled to play a five-match ODI series, which will begin on October 21.
