Kohli got dismissed five balls after the play was resumed after he scored 23 runs. The Indian cricket captain was spotted carrying a pink bat and wearing pink gloves to raise awareness for breast cancer and in support of McGrath Foundation. The New Year Test at the SCG is called a 'Pink Test’ in remembrance of former Australian fast bowler Glenn McGrath's late wife Jane McGrath. In 2008 McGrath’s wife died after suffering from breast cancer and from 2009 onwards the Test at SCG is called the ‘Pink Test’.
The Indian team is currently batting on the score of 303 runs for the loss of four wickets. Cheteshwar Pujara is currently on a score of 130 whereas, Hanuma Vihari is batting on 39 runs. Ajinkya Rahane departed on the score of 18 runs.
