The day 2 of the Test match between India and Australia has reached a point where the visitors have piled over 500 runs on the board for the opponents. After India won the toss, Virat Kohli elected to bat first. The day one of the fourth test concluded with India scoring 303 runs for the loss of four wickets. Ahead of the day two, Virat Kohli himself took the matters in his hands and prepared Rishabh Pant for the upcoming challenge. Pant eventually scored a century on day two. Virat Kohli was seen helping Rishabh Pant with some throw-downs in the nets and he ended up scoring a century. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) took to Twitter to share the video of it. The day two of the match between India and Australia started with Cheteshwar Pujara and Hanuma Vihari’s batting. The two stood tall against the Aussie bowlers. However, Cheteshwar Pujara missed his double ton and got out on 193 runs after facing 373 balls.
Hanuma Vihari also missed out on his half-century after he scored 42 runs from 96 balls hitting five fours and no maximums. As of now, Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja on the field. The wicket-keeper batsman has scored his second Test century while Jadeja was giving him the company. India could be declaring their first innings as soon as they reach the 550-run mark.
