Virat Kohli registered his fifth Indian Premier League (IPL) century during Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) vs Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) match at the Eden Gardens. With it Kohli goes past David Warner and Shane Watson on the list of most centuries in IPL. Warner and Watson apparently have four centuries each. Kohli started off slowly against Knight Riders and notched his half-century off 40 balls. He then upped the ante and completed his century off just 57 balls in the last over. Kohli’s second fifty just took 17 balls. Meanwhile, Kohli’s ton was fifth of this season with Warner, KL Rahul, Jonny Bairstow and Sanju Samson having registered the three-figure mark before the RCB captain. Kohli now occupies third place on the most runs this season with 378 runs from nine matches. Apart from this century, Kohli has two half-centuries against his name as well this season.
