Breaking records has become quite a routine for Virat Kohli. The Indian cricket captain yesterday scored 61 runs from 41 deliveries with four boundaries and a couple of sixes. Kohli and Dinesh Karthik’S 60 run stand, helped India crush Australia by six wickets in Sydney. Now with this Kohli now has amassed 463 runs against Australia in 14 matches and thus becomes the highest scorer against an opponent in the T20s. With an Impressive half-century, the Indian cricket captain scored his 13th fifty while chasing, which is the most by any player. This was his fifth fifty against Australia in the shortest format of the game. Talking about the match yesterday, after winning the toss, Australia won the toss and elected to bat. The Aussies amassed 164 runs with the loss of seven wickets. Krunal Pandya snapped four wickets. India, on the other hand, had a blistering start with Rohit Sharma scoring 23 runs in 16 balls. Shikhar Dhawan made 41 runs from 22 balls. With this India levelled the series with 1-1. After the match, Virat Kohli said, “Things become pretty easy when those two guys play like that at the top. I think DK showed great composure at the death along with me stringing a partnership to get us home. I think Maxy and Zampa bowled very well. I thought overall, skill wise we were better than Australia."
