Yes, you read that right! As per a report in ESPN Cricinfo, Virat Kohli has covered 510 kms while running between the wickets. While he covered around 277 kms for his runs, the remaining 233 was from the non-striker’s end. Those aware of Kohli’s game will be well-acquainted with the fact that how much effort he puts in while running between the wickets. The former India captain often is seen utilizing the gaps in the field for scoring quick singles and doubles when boundary-hitting becomes tougher. Whenever there’s a gap in the field he can exploit, trust Kohli to convert the singles into doubles and twos into threes. Such an ability, especially during run chases, has helped him to keep the scoreboard ticking on several occasions and also up the ante, by putting pressure on the opposition. No wonder he is known as the ‘Chasemaster’.

During India’s second Test match against West Indies, Kohli became the 10th cricketer to achieve the mark of competing in 500 international matches.
