Virat Kohli & Co Made to Wait in the Bus at the Visakhapatnam Airport After an Attack on YSR Congress President Jagan Mohan Reddy

After registering a tie at Vishakhapatnam against the West Indies, Virat Kohli and team headed to Pune, which is the venue for the third ODI slated to happen tomorrow. However, little did they know that chaos awaited the Men in Blue at the Vishakhapatnam airport. So yesterday, a canteen employee in the VIP lounge of the airport attacked YSR Congress President Jagan Mohan Reddy with a knife.  Reddy was flying to Hyderabad and man named Janapally Srinivas Rao approached him to offer a cup of coffee and suddenly attacked him. Rao hails from Amalapuram in Andhra Pradesh. Jagan Mohan Reddy attacked.

Post this, the airport was under a strict observation and the entry was the incident further prompted the officials to increase the security check and monitor the movements of everyone present at the airport. Thus, the cricketers who were to board a flight to Pune were asked to wait in the bus itself and could not enter the airport on time. Once the situation was under control, the cricketers then entered the airport to board their flight for Pune. Reddy flew by a normal flight to Hyderabad and even took to social media to inform his followers about his safety.

The team India, reached Pune yesterday and will play the third game in the five-match ODI series. The Indians won the first game comprehensively by eight wickets in Guwahati. The second match, unfortunately, ended up with the tie but Virat Kohli reached the 10,000 runs milestone and shattered several other records as well.  The match will be played at the Maharashtra Cricket Association tomorrow. India vs West Indies, 2nd ODI ends with a tie.
