India won the second ODI against West Indies by 59 runs through (D/L) method, after rain interrupted the match twice. The match was reduced to 46 overs per side and the target was revised to 270 instead of the original target of 280 set by India. West Indies were al out for 210 in reply. Only Evin Lewis scored a half-century in the match for West Indies as other batsmen barring Nicholas Pooran failed to impress with the bat.
