This makes Virat Kohli the fifth among all the celebrities from the country. Bollywood sensation and the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) co-owner Shah Rukh Khan tops the chart as he paid a jaw-dropping amount of INR 92 crore.

Retired from international cricket back in 2020 and is only seen during the IPL, MS Dhoni is second among the other cricketers on the list as he paid INR 38 crore as tax in the financial year. The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) star has a huge fan base and has multiple endorsement deals up his sleeves.

The Indian cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar and former captain of the Indian Cricket Team Sourav Ganguly are a couple of names who also featured in the list of highest tax-paying cricketers. Sachin Tendulkar paid a total of INR 28 crore as tax and on the other hand, Sourav Ganguly paid INR 23 crore. These retired stars are paying more taxes than those of modern cricket players.

India National Cricket Team player Hardik Pandya lies fifth on the list and Rishabh has secured the sixth spot. The star all-rounder Hardik Pandya paid INR 13 crore as tax.
