All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja might have scored a maiden century on the day 2 of India vs West Indies 2018 first test match at Saurashtra Cricket Association, Rajkot but his casual attitude baffled Indian skipper Virat Kohli. So here’s what happened. In the 10th over of the match, when Shimron Hetmyer was on the crease batting for West Indies, Jadeja decided to tease the batsman who was in the bid of sneaking a single after Jadeja got the ball. While Ambris had already left the crease, both batsmen ended up appearing on the same end. Ravindra Jadeja gets a maiden century.

Now, instead of throwing it towards one of the fielders, Jadeja causally walked towards the stumps with the ball in his hand and hit the bails. This did not go down well with the skipper Virat Kohli and Ravichandran Ashwin. Fortunately, Hetmyer did not the crease and got run-out. Watch the video. I can’t imagine that (if I’d missed the stumps). I knew if I could go close to the stumps, I could get him,” said Jadeja.
