Yesterday the Men in Blue displayed an all-round show against West Indies at the Queen's Park Oval in Port of Spain. Apart from Virat Kohli’s century, it was Bhuvneshwar Kumar who walked away with the limelight for snapping four wickets after giving away 31 runs. Bhuvneshwar who bowled for eight overs was highly economical with his spells. The speedster bowled at an economy of 3.88. Needless to say that the Indian cricket captain was also quite impressed with the pacer. IND beat WI by 59 runs (D/L method).

Virat Kohli posted a picture with Bhuvi and praised him for his performance during the second game. Despite the fact, that rain played a spoilsport, the visitors won the game by 59 runs as the DL method came into play. After winning the toss, the Indian cricket team scored 279 runs on the board and West Indies got bundled out on 210 runs. Mohammed Shami and Kuldeep Yadav snapped a couple of wickets. Ravindra Jadeja and Khaleel Ahmed got one wicket each.

The Indian cricket captain took to social media to praise Bhuvi. Check out the post below:

Virat Kohli walks away with the Man of the Match award. After the match, Virat Kohli said, “I think the rain in between helped them else it would have been tough to bat in the middle overs. We knew that anything over 270 would be challenging. Feels good to get a hundred when the team wanted me to get one.” The Indians will play their next game on August 14th, 2019 at the same venue.
