Vijay Shankar who has played three matches in the on-going tournament has scored 58 runs and taken two wickets. He was not the part of the playing XI against England. The 28 years old right-handed batsmen Mayank Agarwal will replace Shankar in CWC 2019. If Agarwal will be given an opportunity to play, it will be his ODI debut in the World Cup 2019, as he has not played any International matches till now.
