Seven out of 12 matches of Round 1 of Vijay Hazare Trophy 2018-19, on September 24, were hit by multiple rain. The fourteen teams – including the likes of Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Maharashtra, and Karnataka – were forced to share points. Six of these had to be called off without a ball being bowled. Three of these were played at Alur and three others at Vadodara. Both cities will host matches of Round 2, on September 25. Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Meghalaya, and Sikkim won the the other five matches. Here is a brief recap of the day's play.
