Vijay Hazare Trophy 2019-20 witnessed 12 matches on October 14 (Monday). No match was affected by rains and all the matches ended with a result. Gujarat, Mumbai, Puducherry and Uttar Pradesh were some teams which bagged big victories over their opposition. Railways vs Bengal clash ended in a tie after both the teams scored equal 233 runs. Puducherry vs Manipur, Railways vs Bengal, Services vs Bihar, Gujarat vs Jammu and Kashmir, Vidarbha vs Uttar Pradesh, Delhi vs Punjab, Baroda vs Himachal Pradesh, Nagaland vs Chandigarh, Assam vs Meghalaya, Saurashtra vs Goa, Mumbai vs Kerala, Hyderabad vs Chhattisgarh were the 12 matches which were played on Monday. Gujarat’s Priyank Panchal (170), UP’s Priyam Garg (120) and Mumbai’s Yashasvi Jaiswal (122) were some of the batsmen who hit a century against their respective opposition. Nagaland vs Chandigarh Plate match was a close clash which saw Nagaland winning by 1 wicket. Delhi vs Punjab was another close-fought match which witnessed Delhi winning by 5 wickets. Manipur 109-10 in 30.1 overs (Priyojit K Singh 44*, Vinay Kumar 4-21)  lost to Puducherry 115-1 in 16.1 overs (Arun Karthik 67) by 9 wickets.

Bengal 223-10 in 49.1 overs vs Railways  223-10 in 50 overs match tied.

Bihar 267-7 in 50 overs ((Babul Kumar 66, Shasheem Rathour 71) lost to Services 269-5 in 48.4 overs (Ravi Chauhan 86) by 5 wickets.

Jammu and Kashmir 279-8 in 50 overs (Abdul Samad 68) lost to Gujarat 282-2 (135*) in 37.3 overs by 8 wickets.

Uttar Pradesh 211-10 in 49 overs defeat Vidarbha 102-10 in 31.3 overs by 109 runs.

Delhi 220-8 in 50 overs (Lalit Yadav 54, Siddarth Kaul 5-48) defeat Punjab 215-9 in 50 overs (Anmolpreet Singh 73) by 5 runs.

Himachal Pradesh 161-10 in 44 overs (Nikhil Gangta 46) lost to Baroda 165-8 in 34.5 overs (Swapnil Singh 66) by 2 wickets.

Chandigarh 220-10 in 49.4 overs (Ankit Kaushik 55) lost to Nagaland 222-9 in 48.4 overs (Aosashi Longchar 76) by 1 wicket.

Meghalaya 100-10 in 34.5 overs (Dwaraka Ravi Teja 51) lost to Assam 104-4 in 17.4 overs (Sibsankar Roy 69) by 6 wickets.

Goa  154-9 in 28 overs (Vaibhav Govekar 50) lost to Saurashtra (Prerak Mankad 41) by 5 wickets.

Kerala 199-10 in 48.4 overs (Robin Uthappa 43) lost to Mumbai  202-2 in 38.2 overs (Yashasvi Jaiswal 122) by 8 wickets.

Chhattisgarh (Ashutosh Singh 66) defeated Hyderabad (Tilak Varma 41) by 24 runs.

Vijay Haraze Trophy started on September 24 and will run till October 25, 2019. A total of 38 teams are participating in the tournament and will play a total of 169 matches during the domestic ODI cricket tournament.
