The Indian team yesterday lost the second Test match in Perth against Australia by 143 runs. However, the Test match had been in the news for the on and off sledging between the players of the two teams. The verbal spat between Ishant Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja also made headlines. Each and every action of the players from the two teams were put under the scanner especially. At the end of the Test match, the cold handshake between Virat Kohli and Tim Paine also made headlines. The incident caused former Australian pacer Mitchell Johnson to write an opinion piece and even went on to lash out at the Indian skipper. Marcus Harris Sledges Rishabh Pant During Day 5 of IND vs AUS; Says, ‘If You Get Out You Can Go Out and Disco Tonight’ (Watch Video).

The handshake exchanged by the two captains just signified that the two are holding something against each other. From their body language, it seemed that the two would actually take things ahead in the third Test match. The Australian captain went one step further when he confirmed that things between the two would end at the conclusion of the fourth Test match.Virat Kohli vs Tim Paine War Intensifies on the Day 4 of India vs Australia 2018, 2nd Test; Umpires Intervene (Watch Video).

Mitchell Johnson in his blog labelled the Indian captain as silly and disrespectful. “Virat Kohli could not do that with Tim Paine, shaking the Australian captain’s hand but barely making eye contact with him. To me, that is disrespectful. Kohli gets away with more than most cricketers simply because he is Virat Kohli and he gets placed on a pedestal but this Test left the Indian captain looking silly,” he wrote. Like always the opinion piece invited a lot of trolls and the former pacer even went on to respond to a few of them. “Mitchell johnson can bark whatever he wants I don’t think anyone take him serious!,” wrote a netizen.

“Mitchell Johnson is still not over the fact that he got absolutely man handled by a bloke single handedly at home just one year after he was dismantling the poms. Still remember him coming upto bowl with all his efforts only to see ball getting smashed all over the park by kohli,” read another post.

Here’s another one.

Virat Kohli has been under the scanner for his behaviour on field. In fact even Naseeruddin Shah labelled the Indian captain as the world’s worst behaved player. The next Test match will be played on December 26, 2018, at the MCG.
