West Indies have beaten the USA quite comprehensively by nine wickets to pick up their first win in the Super Eight stage. The former champions enthralled the home crowd with a clinical display both with the bat as well as ball. Roston Chase and Andre Russell took three wickets each while Alzarri Joseph took two as West Indies bowled out USA for just 128 runs. In response, West Indies chased down the target in just 10.3 overs to not just win the match but also boost their Net Run Rate. Shai Hope was sensational in the run chase, scoring 82 runs off only 39 balls. USA on the other hand, suffered their second consecutive loss of the Super Eight.

Steven Taylor did depart early but these two right-handers have taken the attack to the West Indies bowlers, playing some exquisite shots. West Indies seem under the pump at the moment and desperately need a wicket.
