Umesh Yadav has been away from international cricket is not a part of the travelling squad to New Zealand. But the pacer is making headlines for his performance at the Ranji Trophy 2018-19. A few days ago he as in the news for snapping nine wickets against Uttarakhand. Yadav, who is currently playing for Vidarbha has put the team in the driver’s seat by snapping 7 wickets against Kerala in the semi-finals of the tournament at Krishnagiri Stadium, Wayanad. After winning the toss, Vidarbha elected to field and snapped three early wickets in the first innings. Kerala skipper Sachin Baby and Vishnu Vinod were the only ones to put up more than 20 runs on the board. Sachin made 22 runs off 33 balls whereas Vinod scored 37 off 50 deliveries.
