Umar Akmal, who represents the Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), goofed up big time in a promotional video when he said by mistake that the next Indian Premier League (IPL) will be played in Pakistan. Though he realised his mistake and corrected himself immediately, it was enough for Twitter to turn the blooper into a much shared video. The video was recorded by the Gladiator’s team in Karachi, and the batsman can be heard saying, “We are happy to be playing in front of our home crowd and the way people are supporting the teams the day is not far when the whole IPL….oh sorry PSL will be played in Pakistan”.

This is not the first time that Umar Akmal has been trolled. He was once involved in an embarrassing press conference and post match presentation as well. The fourth edition of Pakistan Premier League is in its last stages in Karachi after 26 matches. The matches were played across different venues in the UAE.
