Earlier batting first, Sri Lanka posted mammoth 338 for six, their highest total in this world Cup. 21-year-old Avishka Fernando became the third toughest Sri Lankan batsman to score an ODI century. Fernando scored 104 off 103 balls. Apart from him, opener Kusal Perera slammed 64 off 51 balls.
In bowling department for Sri Lanka, Lasith Malinga picked three wickets while Angelo Mathews, who bowled after a long time, chipped in with a prized wicket of centurion Pooran. Sri Lanka will now face India in their last match West Indies takes on Afghanistan.
