The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 fever soars and the Indian team will soon take on South Africa on June 5 at the Rose Bowl Cricket Ground, Southampton. This would be India’s first game in the CWC 2019 and as the Men in Blue gear up for the contest, they receive a special wish from Bayern Munich football star Thomas Muller who was seen donning the Indian colours and cheering for the Indian team. He also wished all the participants good luck for the tournament ahead. “I wish all participants of the Cricket #WorldCup2019 good luck & thrilling matches. Especially I cross my fingers for @imVkohli, the captain of the Indian team. He`s a fan of @DFB_Team and supported it multiple times in the past 🏏✊😃 #Cricket #GermanyCheersForIndia #esmuellert,” read the tweet by Muller.

This gesture from Muller could be reciprocation for Kolhi’s love for Germany. In 2016, during the Euro Cup, Kohli had tweeted, “Excited for #Euro16. I'm all in with Die Mannschaft for the Euros! Which team are you supporting? #FirstNeverFollows."

Ahead of the game, the team is seen sweating it out in the nets and were seen practising short balls and fuller length deliveries. The players are making sure to have practised each kind of delivery to face the pace batteries of South Africa.
